A forum post here used the NIK plugin for Black and white, so I downloaded the 15 day trial and tried it, purchase prices is 199,, so a bit pricy, but.. here is an example of the edit.

Have you compared it side by side with PS desaturation or selectively de-saturating all color layers? It would have to be pretty significant to justify two Benjamin Franklins!

oh,, I usually use the Black White conversion in PS,, but,, playing with it during the free trial.. is it better, naw,, but convenient, and easy,, and I am just playing around
