My names Bobby....I'm originally from NYC, but I've been living in Australia for over 10 years. I went from tall buildings & asphalt to fields of grass & brush, sheep, horses & cows....not to forget lotsa Kangaroos.
I recently got a new Digital Camera, a NIKON D5100. The price was right, so I couldn't resist switching up from a Fuji point & shoot.
I've been into photography for quite some time....film only up until about 15 +/- years ago....& this is my first 'real' camera in the digital age for me.
So far I like it a lot. As always there are quite a few things I would like it to do better, like having a rocker button to zoom in & out while in live view movie mode. Twisting the lens zoom while at 150mm+ is never a good look if you get my drift. But overall, it's a magnificent camera for the budget minded.....my next purchase is going to be a lens with true macro capability. I'd probably only use it a couple dozen times a year, but when ya need it ya gotta have it!
