Purchased this in early 2011 when I first into DSLR photography. Has served me well but is largely unused two years down the road. Original lens hood cracked when it was dropped (the hood, not the lens) just weeks after I bought it. I repaired it but also purchased a new one, which I never used, liking the look of an "experienced" photographer instead. Lens has had a UV filter on it for 99% of its life. No scratches, perfect working order. Will post sample images in the next day.
