Nikon D3100 Nascar

im going to a NASCAR race tomorrow and im taking my nikon d3100. there will be races at night and during the day i guess. any suggestions on what settings to use for both day and night?

Lacking a little information...Which lens do you have....

I'm sure you shouldn't have trouble getting some good shots in the daylight hours if you pan...

Night is a different kettle of fish...You will still have to pan but with different settings...

18 to 55 and 55 to 200 ill be using both
