Thought this might be of interest to those who long for a lack of light pollution.

thanks for the inspiration,, I am going to be out in the American West in March,, and on the drive back to Vegas ,, think I'll find low light pollution spot and try some sky shots too, the key also is to provide that extra light on a rock or such.. Use of the Moon light is also awesome, but of course that is a matter of timing.

In the dry season up here we get crystal clear nights, I will need to get my camping gear out again and take more night shots...
