Braketing Frustration on New D7000

I bought this camera yesterday and one of the main reasons was for it's bracketing abilitty. The problem is I just can't get it to work.
If I set it for Multiple Shots than I am unable to set the braketing by pressing the brkt button. If I turn the Multiple Shots off I can set up braketing but when I release the shutter only one picture is take.

I am sure it is a menu setting somewhere but I have been working on this for hours and am still stuck.

Any help or clues would be appreciated.
I am using an SB-700 if that is of any consequence.

you are not mixing Bracketing with Multiple exposure?

but when I bracket, I set in in High Speed Burst Mode, bracket depth to 3, and hold the plunger down,, typically I am on tripod when I am bracketing, for a stable platform.

My complaint is that the D7000 only does 3,,, should be minimum of 5,,,, come on NIKON FIX that on the 7100... PLEASE,,, (laughs, of course, I am not upgrading anyway, but would be nicer for other shooters.

Most Excellent!

Thanks to all of you so much. This should make HDR much easier.
