Need some clarification on posting guidelines

I am new to this forum and I want to make sure I have clarification on one point in the posting guidelines.

The guidelines stipulate no pornographic images, which should come as no surprise to anyone, but does that include all nudes? Can tasteful and artful nudes be included in one's portfolio?

If they are artistic, I have no objections. And if it gets too cheesy, we could tell you. It might be better if you post them in your gallery and if you want people to look at them, post a link in the forum mentioning that there is nudity. This way, people that nudity offends won't have to look.

Maybe Jdeg wants to chime in too.

For those of you who don't know, NSFW means "Not Safe For Work".

Or...if your wife asks for money, you can say "NSFW"!...Non Sufficient Funds, Woman!" ;)

Tasteful nudes have been posted here on occasion, and should be welcome on any good photography forum in my opinion. Unless things have changed since I was a moderator, there is no "official" stance against posting nudes here.

If you have to question what "tasteful" nudes are, don't post it.

However, definitely take precautions in the title of your thread. It should be very obvious that a nude is contained within, so that people who are not interested or who may be offended by such things, will be deterred from clicking on it.

Or you say "when my lens collection reaches half the quantity of your shoes bags and dresses, then there will be money flowing your way".

I would also like to add, following that discussion with your wife, you pack your camera and charger etc for a possible long stint on the sofa :p
