d 90 zooming in on live vew

In the bottom left hand corner on the back of the camera is the "Qual" button. When live view is active you can push that one to zoom in and the one above it to zoom out. They are the same two buttons you use when reviewing pictures to zoom in and out. You can also zoom in with your zoom lens like normal but I think you were looking at making the object closer for focusing only.
