not sure what nikon had in mind when they put in 2 card slots but i am thankful. Drove for a hour to do a field trip, shot pictures for another couple hours drove home and found one card in the computer. Sometimes u just get lucky.

Don't know that I've done that going out to shoot, but I know I've done it when I'm sitting at home and all of a sudden see something out the window that I need to capture - sunrise, sunset, critter. My problem is remembering to actually pull the second card to get the images off. LOL
