D600 advice please...

Going to Hong Kong for lunar new year and looking for advice / help with settings.

I have the D600, 50mm 1.8 prime, 16-35 f4 VR, SB 700 flash and tripod etc.

Can anyone share with me settings for U1 and U2 for shooting the Chinese New Years fireworks etc. Or any good settings to save in general as a starting point.

I am no expert on fireworks but I would personally start with the camera on Manual, focus on manual set the aperture to something like F8 and the shutter speed to around 4 seconds. Use a remote or use the timer on the camera to avoid camera shake.

I'd go over to 500px and search fireworks. You'll find a ton of great firework pics and most of them have their settings listed.
