There's this place in Nepal where you can take a jump :)
A bridge connects two mountain ranges, between which there is a river flowing...
Needless to say, it is one of the most beautiful views my eyes have ever set sight on.
i was unable to even capture 10% of the beauty of the setting, but did take a few pics of people taking a leap with nothing more than a few ropes attached..
The jump is around 600ft & right below is the narrow shallow river strewn with rocks..

Here are a few shots of the entire experience - the location & the jumpers :D

To add (quite sheepishly) i did not have guts to jump.... but my wife did...! :)

Here we go-

The actual height of the spot to jump off from

An in-between view:

This is what you jump into... the view straight down

It's so beautiful, you can see waterfalls from the sides of the slopes

This is the bridge connecting the two slopes:

The photos are not the clearest cos this bridge just keeps shaking...
each time someone takes a step the hanging bridge jumps up & down

Now had to move to the other side as the registration was on the other side.

This guy came all the way from UK, just for this jump, cos it was in his 'Bucket list'
And the jump had to be bare chested.

A silent jumper... i think he said he was from Czechoslovakia..

Here's the love of my life :)

This is slightly different.. not a bungee jump, but a 'Swing'
You just jump & it takes you like a swing or pendulum....600 ft down & more! Crazy

This man stands on this ledge, videographing every jump!
They will give you the video of your jump for a small extra fee

I went to do the jump in Naniamo. Got all geared up stood out on the bridge and said nope. Geared down and walked away. I have jumped out of planes before with reserve chutes but this was just not for me.

Nice pictures. No way on God's green earth would i ever do this. By the way, as a suggestion, you may want to use a CPL filter next time you come across shots similar to the first four.

Yes... that crossed my mind quite a few times while looking at the pics...
Have not looked into the world of filters yet though!
