I managed to borrow one to play with and I'm trying to wrap my head around the video mode. From what I can tell, video is strictly automatic, am I right? i.e. you can't set what you want for shutter, aperture, and ISO.
In manual mode I selected ISO 100 while shooting video in a dimly lit room. This should have given me dark images but the resulting video was well exposed.
On the T4i, in manual mode, I can dial my own settings for shutter, aperture, and ISO and the resulting video will be over, under, or properly exposed depending on what I dialed in.
