Dawg Pics' New Adventures of the D500 (and maybe the D300)

My last 2 threads didn't get very far due to family obligations and the passing of my Dad in August, which I posted about it in my 'learning' thread.
I think I would prefer to shoot without any pressure on myself this year. So, no 365 project for me in 2018.

Shot this image on my way back to Texas after spending Christmas with my family.

Shot this today through the window. The original file is not very good, but I finally got that woodpecker.

If that's the one that's been eating on my fireplace, can you have him return my wood back to me?

Interesting birds show up when I am not prepared. Anyway, bad image but good enough for bird identification. I have been trying to ID all of the different birds that drop by the feeders.

This Orange Crowned Warbler stopped by along with another Woodpecker, possibly Downy variety. Woodpeckers don't stay long, so I didn't get an image.
If I identified this bird incorrectly, let me know.
