Thank you, Walt! I am so overdue for a positive attitude make over and I'm really looking forward to making positive things happen this year.

Tried to make it downtown tonight to catch the huge ring around the moon, but the clouds beat me there. I still love shooting around this bridge. Turned out to be a pretty nice evening.

Thank you, Scott! I'm fighting hard this year to improve and to keep the funk of "nothing more around here to shoot" out of my head. I do want some better landscape locations, but I need to be able to find and "see" more opportunities here as well.

Funny thing is is that there is tons to shoot within a two hour radius of my place, but it's so hard to make the time to go that far and back. Between work and Jason and the kids it's surprising how rare having half a day to shoot pictures could be.

I live in a National Park and due to all the regulations and such its quite limiting to where and what I can photograph with out applying for a permit each time.

That would suk to have to get a permit every time you go shoot in the park! I heard some in the States are starting to limit access and nearly all are closing their gates at dark except designated camp sites.

Yeah it does suck, me being local the parks staff can quickly track me down. Whereas visitors/tourists can normally get away with it.
