Lottie decided to use my coat as a bed. Yes, it would be better if he entire face was showing.
The first shots didn't really show her eyes, so I bounced the flash off of the wall to the my left. It worked, and I am happy about it. Yay, maybe all the Neil Van Niekirk articles I have been reading are starting to sink in.

We had frozen precipitation today. While everybody else is posting fun images, I headed to Hawkin's cemetery.
I gave selective color a shot.

i quite like this pose, dogs love to bury their nose in things, it sort of says "do not disturb".

Thanks. I was concerned that the fabric on the foreground might be a distraction, but overall, I like this image with her peeking over the hood.
She was snuggled up and going to sleep.

My boy cat has taken to sleeping in the seat of my flannel-lined jeans where I drop them on the floor when undressing for bed.
Now I have to make sure that they are "in position" when I "drop" them.
I've been thinking of snapping a shot of him. Now I guess I have to! :)

That is an image I must see.

Not to worry, I would still have my undies on during said "dropping".
But otherwise, yes, I'm sure you would all be in for a good chuckle. :)

I remember my grandmother telling me about the goose that charged at her when see went to use the outhouse and even tried to get her through the knotholes. She had a goose dinner that night.

That is funny. I was too busy trying to get out of this goose's way to get an image of charging.

On a side note, my Mom hated outhouses. Her cousin would wait until Mom went into the outhouse and then she would shoo the chickens under there. Ahhh, old-country fun.

No EXIF on this one. I take it you were not using a telephoto?
Crud, I can't figure out why sometimes the EXIF is getting stripped. I just added that info to the post.
My longest lens was used, which is only 50-150mm. I got pretty close to this goose, which he didn't care for.

when it happens to me I usually have the box to strip the data checked, DUH? its always when i am to tired and trying to PP my shots. I once checked the box to close my thread due to "falling asleep at the keyboard" lol
