Abandoned Cement Factory HDR series

I came across this abandoned factory while driving around looking for foliage shots. Was a really interesting spot, but didn't have much time before it rained to fully explore. Below is 5 HDR's of a few of the "attractions", There were more buildings than shown, will need to return to this spot next weekend if weather permits. It was actually kinda eerie and to my surprise the buildings were "open", will check out the insides next time. These are all 3 exposure HDR's using my 16-85 vr and merged in Photomatix Light, finished in Lightroom.

That place is so intriguing! I bet that is a popular spot for portraits, it would be here in Utah. love the HDR work Thanks for sharing

well done. The cat is my fav too. The only thing that would have made it better, would be a wider angle and a touch closer...thats just my opinion though...otherwise, nice job.

Great shots, Rick. Nice HDR work. And yes, I'd have to say the Cat is my favourite, too. Definitely a wall hanger. :)

I agree Joe, I was suprised at how much room I had left on either side. I need to remember that the viewfinder is not 100% of the view and take full advantage of the perspective I can get at 16mm.

As you can gather I'm not committing to a 365 due to work, kids, working out, pets, laundry, cooking, helping mom (siblings are useless) and getting my wife beer while she's on the couch watching football. Let's not forget the honey do list, honey remodel, major construction and I need lists. I think I can manage a few shots a week so here goes.

Perhaps a moderator could move my recent HDR thread so I can continue on it here and keep my work together.
