I have stepped up to the challenge again and will do another 365 project for 2016, however this is a leap year so my 365 is going to be a 366. I feel that doing a 52 project didn't help me to become a better photographer. So I need to do a 366 so that I can improve my skills. I would like the help of my Nikonites family to comment and critique my work so that I can become a better photographer in 2016. Thanks for all of your support.

Definitely something I would like to try as well, even if no contest. When I try to view the contest terms & conditions in original post, it is stating I do not have permission. Just wanted to know the guidelines for entering.

Thanks.

That link is for the terms and conditions of using an Amazon gift card, nothing to worry about. The rules for doing a 365 are outlined below in that same post. Basically you have to take (at least) one photo a day, every day, for all 365 days of the year. You don't have to post a shot every day, but you need to have shots accounting for every day. There's also some stuff about tagging your thread and how to format your shots you should read. It's based on the Honor System but EXIF data being visible is appreciated for all the obvious reasons. And that's really all there is to it: Shoot. Post. Repeat.

For anyone even remotely considering doing a 365, I highly recommend it. It's an immense learning experience.

I would have liked to finished my second 365, this year, but twas not to be... :(

@weebee :: If you complete five 365's in a row, I'm going to have to nominate you for some kind of Iron Man award... That's some serious commitment!

The page has never worked, but no one seems inclined to fix it. Three years ago, I had the same question and the deadline to start had passed before someone told me to just ignore it, so though I posted (some would say excessively) every day, I did not get a 365 credit.

Sign up, make your own rules, and have fun.
