Pretty much as the title says. Nice to have a place to post anything and everything :p

Will be fun to look back over the next few years and see my photos get better (hopefully not worse haha)

For future sake, I am going to post a few photos I use to think were really good when I first started (Some are Non-Nikon)

Please bare with me as I now realize how bad these.

Shot these in Downtown Elkhorn, Nebraska. Small town now apart of Omaha.

The truck has been parked at an old gas station (now auto garage) for as long as I can remember. (20+ years?)

The bridge is right down the road (Stream is directly behind the garage) I am not sure when they built the new overpass (20+ years ago again). We use to ride our bikes all around town and we would constantly cut across whats left of the old bridge carrying our bikes.

Last 2 are of the gas station. HDR is a little heavy but we all gotta do it at least once!

great start to your new thread Michael, for future reference you should turn your photo on the pc before posting it, much easier on my neck. lol

Thanks,

not sure what happened with that photo, it's rotated on my pc. Tried uploading the one I edited and it ended up being to big so I posted the unedited one. I'll have to try resizing it or cropping it and see if that works.

Have never shot anything sky-wise other than clouds and the moon.

I went out and shot the milky way last night and here is what I ended up with. I started getting the ISO dialed in to where I wanted it but the clouds moved in so had to leave. Thinking next time too, I will travel further away from Omaha. Didn't realize how far the light pollution goes. I was about 20-25 miles outside of the city for this. Also, probably shoot RAW next time too.

This is one exposure. Haven't read enough about stacking etc to know what to do. Also unedited since the edited image was to large to upload.

Shot with 18-55mm Kit Lens too

Two bucks looking after a fawn (was back in the grass, I almost stepped on it)

Who doesn't like a selfie? Was playing with a monopod I made out of a carwash brush and a tripod head.

Swampy-marsh I ended u walking through. Water was about knee deep and then there was some sloppy mud on the bottom I almost got stuck in.
