Dont know if there will be much good cheer in this thread because i find most of my home town depressing,but for others to see i will run it for a while.

Have to go back and do this one again as a panorama,it wasn't until i was editing it i noticed we have a casino to the left,pawnbrokers in the center,charity shop to the right,that sums it up.

Very true Mike, our local parade has three take-aways, two restaurants, a job shop plus the mandatory betting shop. Last Butcher in town packed up two years ago.

Mind you i find the church yard a pleasant place to sit.

Not just Grimsby but the UK is known world wide for its double decker buses,not as nice as the old ones though.

The camera never lies as the saying goes.
Unfortunately, these shots could have been taken in most UK towns and cities today. The UK high street is a very sad place.

Shopping centres (malls) and the internet have combined to critically damage the high street retailers.
