Hi all,
I thought I'd bask in the glory of the cool kids, and pop myself a thread up here... It won't be a 365, but I will pop up my favourite shots showing the part of the world I live in. I hope you enjoy, and any pointers for improvement are always welcome!
Without further ado, I'll start with last weekend's trip to Reivaulx Abbey in the North York Moors National Park. The abbey was built in around 1132, and shutdown by King Henry VIII in 1538 ( Read more here Rievaulx Abbey - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia )
The trip was a good chance for me to play with the 8-16mm wide lens out in good light on a dry day, and I have to say I am very pleased with the sharpness at such a low focal length!
