Almost a full year playing and learning with my first DSLR so will give this project a try to see if I can continue to learn and grow.

Thanx Moab Man I will try. I really don't think I went a day last year without taking a photo (note my forum name) but finding the time to sit on my computer and upload is sometimes tricky. I really enjoy going through other members photos though and finding inspiration or just admiring

You're off to a great start! Nice photos. I love the dogs chasing the ponies, although I know that's a no-no for dogs, unless they are herding dogs. :)

Mikew your eyes deceive you there is no snow in my photos… Seriously if you don't like snow you won't like my thread. We will stay white until mid april when we might get to start seeing the ground again.
Today thankfully it cooled off (-12C) so we didn't have to stand in slush as I spent 6.5hrs sorting and counting and counting and counting bottles as a fundraiser for my kids 4-H club. So today you get a view of the late afternoon sky as I picked hay for my fat ponies
Couldn't decide which I liked better. I know the horizon is centred in the 1st and the 2nd has too many distractions but the sky has more colour.

Snow photos don't bother me in the least. I like winter and snow, and cannot understand how people can live with heat, humidity and insects. My feeling is that, in the cold, you can always add another layer and warm up. When it's hot, you can only take off so many layers, then there are no more layers to remove. :) Keep the snow photos coming. You get way more snow than we do. :)
