I buy a "Birding Mix" of seed, I buy different flavors of Suet and for the Jays I put out cat kibble. I spread some of the seed around on the ground for the ground birds, some goes into a bird feeder for the little guys and I put some of all of it on a large piece of fallen pine tree bark that makes a nice big dish. That dish fell onto a growth of wild grape vines and sits about three feet off the ground and is almost a perfect distance from my viewing window.

Wasn't very photographic today as I had to work. But I took advantage of it and got some real nice portraits of one of the cats that is staying with us. I wish all pets would be this cooperative! This guy was purrfect!!

Sorry for posting so many of him all over here today. It was really all I had.

Don't apologize. I take a lot of opportunistic feline photos. BTW, nice shot. I am partial to black and white cats.

And some cats love to have their picture taken, while others see the camera and run screaming in the opposite direction. I have one that loves to ham it up, another ignores me, one goes waddling down the hallway away from me as fast as he can, and the fourth one is Demon Spawn and it depends on her mood. Your cat seems to like the attention.
