AF-S Micro NIKKOR 60mm f/2.8G ED
I also have a Z 105 MC but it cannot focus that short as the AF-S Micro 60mm can do. I use it for duplicating slides together with the FTZ adapter.
ThinkTank Retrospective 10 Messenger Bag
Very nice messenger bag. Has enough room for DSLR with lens, flash, extra lens, misc. cords (remote, etc.), batteries, & camera manual. Of course, if you load it up, it gets heavy, so while there's...

Nikkor 50mm f/1.8
If you mount this on a D3100, you must shoot in manual mode only. You will have not metering, so your histogram is your friend here. I have found that a great starting base (indoor or out) is ISO100; f/2.0: 1/125. If you are using a flash, pop-up or hotshoe, it must be in manual mode, or the camera will not let you shoot. Your display screen will show your SS and ISO, but the f/stop will show F --. You will need to keep a shooters diary for the missing data for the EXIF. your EXIF will show the ISO and SS, but 0mm for lens and f/0 for f/stop. You can edit or add this in later. The focus on this lens is very crisp on the DX body, but requires very minute adjustments on the focus ring. The focus light is the only way you will know you are in focus.

You know you are a photographer when your friends and family no longer blink an eyelid when you talk about going out to “shoot someone”

Re: Nikkor 50mm f/1.8
Tiny little lens, known in the UK as a 'pancake' lens. Lovely solid all metal construction, yet little over 200 grams. The very short physical length results in a poor 0.6 m closest focus. Wonderfully sharp from f2.8. I used originally with my film Nikon FE2, through digital D700, D7000 and now D7100. The 7*** series of DSLRs allow full metering and auto (aperture priority) exposure when you dial in the lens' focal length and maximum aperture into the camera's 'Non CPU Lens Data Bank'. This allows full usage (manual focus, obviously) with apertures changed by clicking the lens' ring - like we all did in the good old days. The lens doesn't get used much these days as on DX which I currently use, I tend to use fast zoom or my D series Nikkor 50mm f1.4, which isn't any better optically but just more usable and with AF (albeit rather rudimentary by today's SWM standards). A nice lens to collect if you see a good example.
