just bought a used version of this lens in mint condition. great sharp image quality, better stopped down performance than the newer version. good working distance at 1;1. another nice feature of this lens is that it has a seperate threaded mount for the lens hood on the main , non extending part of the lens. i use it to mount a metz 15ms 1 macro flash without adding weight to the moving part of the lens. classic japanese glass!
