Whether you're in business or not, and you want a place to put your photos (in a nice venue), consider a blog. Hosting is free for sites such wordpress.com and Typepad (there are others if you google.) Nikonites also has a blog.
If you start attaching a little story to your photos, they become more meaningful. Keep the posts short and to the point.
I once had a creative writing teacher tell me: "If you don't write the details of your life, how will anyone know you were here?"
