Hello from NC

Hello there!!!

I'm totally new to Nikons!!!
I started with a Kodak 110 camera when I was 8, eventually moved up to a Canon AE-1, then a Rebel 2000 and my last Canon was a EOS Rebel XSi.

I purchased a D3200 a few months ago and I am satisfied with it so far. If all goes well, I'll be moving on to a 7100 in about a year.

So, what made you take the leap from Canon to Nikon???

I was saving up money to upgrade to a Canon 5D Mark II with a 24-70mm L-series lens. Canon saw fit to discontinue both- I liked the new version of the 5D, but the new lens almost doubled in price. Highly discouraged, I bought a D3200 to see if I could work with a Nikon and bought a car with the left over money.

Where in NC? Both me and my wife are from Raleigh. I grad from UNC in 1980.

Hi everyone I'm theena I'm a new member of the forum. I joined because I want to learned a lot from the post if the member. I'm actually newbie. Just had my 1st Dlsr I don't know how to use the manual mode of d5200 I'm only using it with automatic. Hope you can teach me guys .
