Tamron 180mm f/3.5 Macro

I used this lens and it was AMAZING! I already have the 90mm from Tamron and after using the 180mm my 90 feels like a butter knife. It will be my next lens.

Thanks for the feedback. I wanted a macro with good working distance and that I could find used for a reasonable price. I think I might pull the trigger.

better hurry -- Amazon only has one left in stock and it's discontinued at B&H and Adorama. Think a new version is on the horizon?

Okay, I did it. I've got a used copy coming from MPB. $380, which seems like a good price by what I've seen. Now I have to make good on the promise I made myself to sell a couple of lenses and cameras I never use anymore.

I got a note back from Tamron today -- the 180mm has been discontinued and there are no plans to update it. Bummer.

That is a bummer. I got the lens yesterday and tried a few shots. I screwed them all up, but the lens performed well.
