It's interesting about these primes. I never thought about the 35 before I got my 18-35, and I now I find myself shooting at 35. Funny how that works. I do have the 50 and 85.

Congrats, now you need a 105

Congrats on completing the trio! We have all three in my house too bit the girlfriend latched on to my Nikon 35mm f/1.8 and would NOT let go, so I replaced it with a Sigma 35mm f/1.4 instead. The more I shoot with my primes, the more I love 'em.

Yeah. Had my eye on a 35 and ran across a nice deal on one of the Nikon facebook groups. Hope to see what the fuss is about soon :-)

Excellent choices! Now, you can save up for the 24/1.4G to finish off your FX Prime Trinity. It's a phenominal lens of unmatched sharpness.

Congrats. I've been out of touch with the latest and greatest lately. I might check out the Nikon 20mm f1.8G lens.

I'm having a hard time deciding between purchasing the 35mm or the 50mm 1.8 lens. Any advice to help me make the decision?

    Thanks.

I'll just point out that with the 35mm you can always zoom and crop to mimic the 50mm perspective, but you can't do the same with the 50mm. I say this owning all three lenses, the 35, the 50 and the 85. They're all great lenses and wouldn't want to be without any of them.

HF has a good point. I'm finding the 35mm on my camera more then the 50.
