Time to dust off the cob webs and use them manual focus lenses.

You know who you are. So lets see what those legacy lenses can do. Film and/or Digital. Your choice.

Here is one to kick it off.

And another reason I got one. I'm yet to hit it's real playing field of somewhere with tons of lights that would scatter all at once, so I can get a shot of a field of electric flowers. One day...

If there was a "super like" button Marcel, I would have hit it twice!

I forgot about your f1.2 lens. NAS attack imminent. :D

This lens has produced outstanding results on the D700. I haven't used it that much on the D600 but will have to take it out for a spin one of these days. One thing I know is that it is my sharpest lens from f-2.

I am certain that you will come up with spectacular images with your subjects. I tried one before when I was still in Japan. The lens that I tried was very sharp at f2.8. I struggled focusing at f1.2 though.

Focusing at 1.2 is very difficult with the original focusing screens. I'v bought replacement focusing screens for all my cameras (700, 600 & 7000) just so I could use my manual focus lenses (35 f2, 55 1.2, 105 f-2.5) and Rokinon 85 1.4.

I'm sorry Marcel, but those 2 photos do not belong in the same post.

I don't agree. What you don't know is that I was supposed to shoot that model with the blacksmith but it had to be canceled since he had an emergency job that prevented him from the shoot. I had a plan... Two days later, when I walked by his shop and he saw the model that was supposed to pose with him, he had regrets... :)

I went to the park today to play Disc golf. I took my nikkor 28mm/3.3. I took some HDR and some action. For the action I just set the focus and shot away..
