I thought I'd start a thread for this trusty lens. Post your shots!

Where the heck have you been?? There are already two or three running! You seem to be as if you were a forum administrator or something with tons of server crap going on. :p

Great lens. I love mine!!

I think we're thinking of two different thread types. Ones that are a single member saying 'hey look at my pics with this lens' (or I just got this lens, look) and ones like this that invite everyone to post pics with the same lens :)

You are right. I guess I have just seen a bunch of 50mm f/1.8 threads lately.

Hey all,

I was wondering which lens you would recommend? Either a 35 mm fixed or a 50 mm fixed. I plan on taking portraits and landscape shots. I bought the 35 but I can always return it.

Kind of the wrong thread to ask this question. Should be on its own thread. Also, you have not informed anyone of what camera you will put the lens on and what you are taking pictures of.

Well you gave her enough photos to last for a good long while and some folks just have different priorities. Sometimes we photographers don't quite understand people not wanting to pose all the time but there are some that feel that way. I know that I don't like to have my photo taken at all.
