Resizing advice please

On uploading my images to this site my EXIF is not transferring. On my original jpeg the EXIF is all there until I use the Fastzone Resizer program to make it a 1024 x 1024. Any advice on how to retain the EXIF or is there another program I could use to resize which will retain the exif?

I should have added, when I check the resized image after putting through Fastzone Resizer, the EXIF is showing on the 1024 x 1024 image, until it is uploaded to my gallery on here.

I use Gimp (and other image editors) to scale image size and never lose Exif. I wonder if resizing to 1024 causes the problem? Or maybe your Fastzone Resizer has a default setting that does not retain Exif.

When you upload an image here, immediately you won't see Exif displayed. But after a while (don't know how long), it will be shown.

The thing is that Exif does show AFTER I have put it though the Fastzone Resizer on my pc, but then doesn't seem to appear when uploaded here, which seems very strange. If it wasn't showing on my new resized imaged at my end then I would agree the Fastzone program could be faulty. I wonder if anyone else on here uses Fastzone?

Looking at the two images and they don't look like 1024x1024, but more like 1000x667. Why? Maybe the site has resized again and Exif got lost?

In the Windows world, back in the Windows XP days there was "PowerToys" which could be downloaded from MS and added functions to XP. There was an Image Resizer tool which worked by right-clicking on 1 or more photos and selecting the resize image menu option. This was my preferred way to resize photos for posting online until I started using Picasa later in the 2000's. Mostly I resize in GIMP now as part of my final workflow.

There is a Windows 10 PowerToys package today. It has Image Resizer once again and a bulk file-rename tool. These work by right-clicking within File Explorer. I have had the PowerToys installed since last autumn, kind of forget I have theme again sometimes.

Let's see if the EXIF imported with that resize.
