Anyone use LR's online portfolio feature?

I just found out about this feature today, via a video from Anthony Morganti. Sure seems a lot easier than manually exporting your pics to a separate site. Does anyone here do this?

Interesting! Although I don't use LR for much of anything, I think the biggest difference is the photos are synced to LR this way whereas with a domain, you upload the images to a web site.

Down the road if the LR catalog becomes corrupt, that might affect the images from being displayed properly - or if images are removed from the LR catalog, they may not be visible on the web page.

But for people just starting out who aren't sure they want to invest in a domain, this is a great way to jump in and get the feet wet! Nice find, Dangerspouse!

By the way, I'm a big Anthony Morganti fan. He has amazing videos.

Thanks Cindy, I hadn't thought of that. Since I am pretty much just starting out though, like you say it's probably worth it for me just to see what it's all about.

I also just discovered Mr. Morganti recently and I've gotta agree with you - his stuff is terrific!
