Request Post Process of your Photo

Request Post Process of your Photo
This thread is for you to post a photo requesting others to post process on your behalf.

There are numerous reasons for such a request, HDR, flare, photobomb, blown highlights, dust, lack of resources, lack of skills. Whatever the reasons, you'd like some help on salvaging your photo and this is the place for it.

I came up with this idea because I've taken photos that I really liked but there was something that needed attention and I lacked the skills to correct it. Hopefully those with Post Processing talent won't mind helping others and sharing their knowledge.

    How it works (example),

    Requester -
Description: (what is wrong, what don't you like, what was the situation, what was the environment, etc.)
    • Predawn, complex lighting, urban landscape, highlights look blown, subject to dark, winter
Request: (what would you like done to your photo)
    • Correct lighting, if possible keep color tones, crop, rotate, whatever needs to be done, thanks
Photo: (attach <1mb photo and NEF/RAW file)

    NEF

Sherpa - (doesn't have to be this detailed, this is just an example)
    Software:
    • Lightroom 6
    Basic Adjustments:
    • WB temp 4950, tent +4; exp +0.10; contrast +16; highlights -50; shadows +84; whites -65; blacks +81; clarity +73; vibrance +24; saturation +14
    Tone Curve:
    • highlights +38; lights -5; darks -18; point curve, linear
    Luminance:
    • green +4; aqua -17; blue -25
    Sharpening:
    • amount 4; radios 1; detail 87
    NR:
    • luminance 45; detail 50; contrast 0; color 47; detail 50; smoothness 50
    Lens Correction:
    • remove CA; profile correct
    Notes:
    • sRGB; sharpened on export

Well, I hate to state the obvious, but it looks like the NEF file would have been fine if you didn't have -2 stops of Exposure compensation set on your camera.

Difficult as we all see things different, i just loaded it into ACR hit auto and then raised the shadows by 10%, its pretty close to what i would want.

Thanks for stating the obvious, it was helpful, next time I’m out on a walk you can push the stroller and I’ll manage the camera adjustments.
