Sweethearts Candy Collage

I'm looking to make a collage poster with the Sweethearts Candy as the theme - and would like to insert a photo into each one (with a clipping mask). But does anyone know how to create a 3-D heart in Photoshop that would look similar to the Sweethearts Candy? Below is a web image of the candy. I don't want to use clip art or an existing image. Is there any way to create 3-D hearts? That's what I'm hoping to find out. Thanks for any help/suggestions! :)

Short answer is yes, something like this CAN be done in Photoshop, using the Extrusion tool, but I'm not familiar with the ins-and-outs of doing so.

I'd suggest you Google "3D Extrusion in Photoshop" and go from there.

Thanks, Paul. I will definitely check it out. :) Quite honestly I've never heard about it so I appreciate the info.

Phlearn has an excellent video on creating 3D objects. I'll post it here in case anyone wants to watch. Doing things this way offers a lot more options than just adding layer styles such as beveling and shadowing. Thanks again, Horoscope Fish - this info is exactly what I need.
