Best Photo Lab Editors

I struggle with sending my computer-processed files to photo labs only to have them returned darker or lighter than my intent. Anyone use a photo lab that does exceptional "tweeking" to your file so you get the best possible print? The files look great on my monitor, but return differently (probably due to calibration). Not interested in the expense or effort of calibrating my monitor, just want a service that makes those adjustments on their end.

I've used Nations Photo and BumbleJax, but like most services, they seem to favor not changing the original file. I'm willing to turn final post-processing over so I get perfect prints. Paying a bit extra for this convenience is fine by me.

Any suggestions?

You've answered your own question.

1. Most don't WILL NOT adjust anything on your image. They assume that's the way you want it. They're not mind-readers, and can't magically know what you really intended the image to print like.

2. Calibration. Is your monitor calibrated...... to their printer?

I've used Nations. They charge extra to check your images to make any necessary corrections. Did you pay the extra fee when you used them?

Like Sparky asked, do you have a device to calibrate your monitor/display?
