I updated a bunch of software on my Mac today, and tried the new Lightroom Classic. It is certainly a lot faster on many operations, which is nice. The new range masking feature using either color or luminance levels to create selections does not impress me so far. I'm seeing significant fringing now matter how I adjust the settings. Maybe I have more to learn, but the regular brush tool with auto mask seems to do a much better job for me. Anyone else tried this out yet?
