No opinion on AfterShot Pro but Corel generally makes excellent software.

Have you considered Capture 1 Pro? If I was considering making a fresh start with a new raw converter/processing software, Capture 1 Pro would absolutely be my new go-to editor. I'd be using Capture 1 right now but I'm deeply entrenched in Adobe software and I just can't bear the idea of learning an entirely new workflow.

Hi Paul, thanks for replying. I have also heard pretty good things about Capture 1. It is another option for sure, that I will have to explore.
I have been hoping Serif would bring out a RAW editor with DAM, because I already have Affinity Photo, but they are just taking too long.
I am starting to get annoyed with Aperture crashing on a seemingly more regular frequency, plus I would like to be able to update my OS to Apples latest, when I do I will lose Aperture altogether, as its not supported anymore.

I was an Adobe user but saw the error of my ways and converted to Corel.
