What software do you use for panoramas?

I currently use ArcSoft Panorama Maker 5 Pro. I'm getting a new PC and can't find my old disk from 2011, so I'm looking for new software.

What do you use?

I sometimes use Photoshop but started to use Lightroom lately and find it gives me better (less distorted) panos. Less work to do once the shots are blended.

At one time I used Hugin, but that was not only complicated to use but extremely slow. Now I use MS ICE. For most of hand held panoramas it is excellent and mostly requires no user input. Only when you want to change the Projection from default that you need to intervene.

One of the better features in ICE is "Auto Complete", especially useful for filling in the sky, pavement or grass at the edges.

I use Gimp. It's very easy to align a series of photos (and to size each one a bit if necessary) with the Move Tool. No special software needed.

ICE does a decent job and most of the time the automatic projection works. In case you want to change the projection that is easily done. Here are a few hand shot panoramas I have taken of the long queues at the banks.
