Image size for printing

I currently send all of the photos that I print to an outside provider. I just recently learned about resizing and resampling in Photoshop. Should I be performing this function before sending photos to enlarge and print or do outside labs generally do this for you? I use Meridian and Nations for most printing and have been satisfied with enlargements but have not gone beyond 24x36.
Thanks for any input.

Why mess with success?

Excellent point! I just read this on the Meridian site "It is not necessary to re-size your camera file based on the print size you are ordering. ROES will automatically adjust your file to produce the print size requested. Please do not submit files larger than your original camera file. Doing so increases transmission time, but does not improve the image quality."
Nations uses the same ordering software, ROES so I guess I just answered my question.
thanks
