How to get rid of eye reflections

How to get rid of myself, in eye reflections? Do people do this in Photoshop afterwards?

I have had the same problem with myself being way to visible in a girls sunglasses, I had to trash a few images I kind of liked, because you could see me and my camera so clearly.

Yep - careful editing in PS and using a polarizer can help, but not always. It's not always possible to eliminate them, but you can lighten them fairly easily and reduce the distraction.

Didn't know a polarizer help with this. I will try to get one for the 105 lens for starters :)

Would any polarizer go? I'm looking at known brands.

Any decent CP should work. I use Hoya and Marumi CP's and they both work great are a decent value.

I tried removing "you" with Photoshop but my quick and dirty approach only wound up giving puppy a bad case of cataracts. The correction could definitely be done in PS by someone who knows the application better than "eye", though.

Edit: I'm really doubting a polarizing filter is going to help here... In fact, I'd bet lunch on it.

I got no beers at all!

Hmm okay, so maybe it has to be done in editing. Hmm. I will still try a polarizer, could be very nice to get it more right in camera.

are you using an off camera flash? maybe it may help if the flash was coming from another direction. That way light is not directed towards you.
