Yes, it's very good. Everything I've seen and read by Steve is great. He knows his stuff, and he presents it in a way that's easy to understand. Even when I think I know a subject quite well, Steve has insights that have helped me quite a bit.

Yes, it is good. Plus when he updated the info in one of his books, he sent out a new link without charging any additional money.

The e-book is great, and any videos Steve Perry's site is worth watching. He also updates the e-book for free, and you get many downloads for your money. We all love Steve Perry because he works with the cameras he is talking about, and he is funny.

The D500 takes a while to get used to, but once you get everything set for your shooting style, you won't be so lost. Also, take a look at this article, and scroll down to the analysis by Perry. It will explain why the blocked AF sensor tracking (subject temporarily runs behind a tree) doesn't work as well as you think it should on this model.

Everybody thought it was a bug, but it was a design change by Nikon. Not sure why. I don't think Nikon knows why.
Enjoy the D500, you can customize the buttons, and create a My Menu to get to the stuff you use most faster.:)
