This is my first post, and only joined today, but my question is
When i bought my Nikon D700O,in the box was software that allowed you to download and manipulate RAW Files if i remember correctly (Although i stand to be corrected if i am wrong),now i can't remember if it was all files like jpeg tiff or just RAW,however i seem to of mislaid or lost the disk ,SO ,would anyone know what the software was called, or have a link so that i could download the said software please.I am a bit tight so don't really want to pay for software if i dont have to
Great Web site btw and hopefully look forward to and Help.
Thank You

As an aside, there are a lot of free software for basic stuff. They all try and get you to sign up for more advanced options but to get started some of them provide OK basics.

Awesome. Thank you. Do you use it in lieu of Lightroom, Photoshop, etc?
I use Capture NX-D to import my photos and organize where they are stored. Beyond that I do most of my image image editing with RawTherapee (free, open-source app) and GIMP (free, open-source) for any operation that would require creating layers. I'm all about using free or open-source software.
