had i known sooner about this i would have gotten up at 3am. so read this around 5:20 and gave it a try. 3 pictures had remote switched from 22 sec to 40 sec. too cold to stay out any longer. plus too many lights. no meteors but nice pics.

I had this same issue. I was popping off 30sec exposures at f/8, ISO back and forth between 400 and 800. The meteors were too few and far between with too much light pollution to really get anything. I was out from 3:15-4:30 in 30* coldness with nothing but some jeans, a jacket and slippers. One frame I KNOW had a really bright meteor pass right through the middle but it was too quick for it to pick up. Oh well, maybe next time...

*edit: I'll post up my star shots anyway I suppose. I have to get around to loading them first though...
