    Adaptor question

I had a neighbor give me a Sigma 105mm lens. I believe it's for a Canon ef (EOS) mount, at least that's what I remember Bill having. Does anyone know if there is an adaptor ring for this lens to a D7100 or D5100? Thank you.

Huh. I thought I'd have a leg up on this because I recently got an adapter to use my old Olympus OM lenses on my D5500. But I'll be darned if I can find any of the usual suspects - Adorama, B&H, etc. - selling Canon-to-Nikon versions. They ALL have Nikon lens to Canon body, but not the other way around. I wonder why that is?

Sorry buddy, I wanted to help out here but I've come up short. Hopefully somebody else will have better news for you. Best of luck snagging one!

Here’s a link that provides a reason why you won’t find what you’re looking for. His conclusion is good. Sell it and buy a Nikon lens.
