I'm getting an error "Card full" on camera (D7100). Every time I import images from card in lightroom, I make sure I delete all Images on card in computer. I checked there were no images on card but I'm still getting "Card full" error. Any ideas ?

Card I'm using is : SanDisk 64GB Extreme PRO SDXC UHS-I Memory card

Instead of deleting the pictures from the card, just format the card in camera after copying the pictures to computer. This can be accomplished by holding down the two red buttons until the FOR icon flashes on the top screen then press the buttons a second time. See page 32 of the manual.

See this link #2 &#3 I always do. If using a card reader copy the files (images) to more than one place on the drive(s) you work on plus other backup drives.
When you format the card either in Windows, Mac OS X, or even Linux do you know what it is doing? It actually writing a file that is hidden. When you erase the card all it it did was removed (usually) the first letter of the file name and make the attributes to show as hidden (it is still there unless you empty the recycle bin/trash bucket). Think of Thumb Flash drives empty the recycle bin or trash bucket after an erase before ejecting the flash drive.

Always format the card in your camera never on any computer. Since you have removed the images, (you do know where they are?) and verified them then FORMAT the card in camera.

I always use a card reader to import may images manually to the folder on a hard drive. I organize them on my hard drive manually. Then I can import them in to Lightroom. I may be anal but I know where my images are located.

Hope this helps.
