I am looking for a wireless remote for my D750 any recommendations?
Will back button focus work with a wired/wireless remote?
Thanks.

Yes... it affects the wired... I assume... I use a radio trigger which gets plugged into the port of the camera... If I use it, I have to switch to manual focus, otherwise the trigger tries to "refocus" before firing the shutter... depending on whether that's good or not in your situation, you have to decide... I don't remember what it does using the little IR remote that Nikon produces...

I use my Camranger or one of these CLICK . I mostly use tilt shift PCE lenses that are manual focus but when I use my 14-24 or 24-7- I focus and change it to manual.

If your needs are simple, the ml-l3 will just take the picture with no refocusing if you are set for bbf. (Thats on my d7200, but it should be the same on the 750.) All I need it to do is just snap the picture. I'm either shooting the moon or the bird feeder when I use the remote. I pre-focus with the bb and shoot as needed with the remote. The app is nice, but for what I do, the little remote is fine. My phone struggles to hold a charge a full day anyway so its best left in my pocket. You can get a knock-off ml-l3 for <$10 on Amazon or ebay if you want to try it.

I need to see if the app works on my tablet, that could be a handy setup. Kind of cool to touch the screen and focus.

i have the infrared remote and it works fine, just does not have the distance and angle that i am looking for.

if you have a smartphone download the Nikon WMU app and give it a try. you can touch on the phone where you want it to focus if I am not mistaken. Distance is great with the app. Best of all it is free so it will not cost you anything to give it a try
