    exif shows limited info

I use a D3300 and recently noted much of the exif info is not showing up. I get date created, image type, demen
sions and etc. Shutter speed, aperture setting , ISO etc. are not ot showing. Initially I thought using a non-Nikon lens (Tokina) was this reason for missing data but I have looked at pics taken with the same lens and camera that did include the data. Anyone know why this has happened? Paul

Where are you trying to see the Exif data? Camera, computer, what software? Or is it on Nikonites?

I use a D3300 and both RAW and JPG show full EXIF data. Use any of the following software to see EXIF data
    . Nikon View NX
    . Nikon Capure NX-D
    . IrfanView
    . PhotoMe Beta

All these are free software. I use NX-D for RAW processing - (Crossed 50,000 images since 11th March, 2014)

@tea2085 It will display in a separate box "Metadata" See the attached screen shot.
If it is not showing, Click on the "Windows" tab and then check the "Metadata" box.

Thanks grizz, you solved my problem!!! I can't believe what you need to know to become an accomplished photographer- computer savvy, math skills, artistic talent and a bankroll. I'm absolutely intrigued with the art. I took it up after I retired at 68. I really wish I had started the hobby while i was in my 20's but- that's life. I thank people like you who exercise patience with me and, ultimately, help me resolve my issue. Thank you muchly, grizz. BTW- looked at your photos and enjoyed. You have a really neat backyard!! Don't worry, I am 65+ and bought my DSLR just two years ago. That is when I learnt RAW processing and started with NX-D. Till then I used a cell phone for 15 years and an SLR before that.
