Oil Paint--Printing

Ok, the new interest in the PS Oilify Filter (or whatever it is called) has made me curious. What paper/media would you consider to be good for bringing out the best when printing these Oil Paint Photos? Matte, glossy, metallic...

Got to agree. Canvas by far would be perfect. I don't think gloss, metallic or matte would really work. I think those would look cheesy.
