Photography projects - what do you want to do?

It'd be cool and fun to recreate Berenice Abbott's mid-1950s trip exploring all of US Route 1. (It's not as well known as her other work.) I'd probably have less time to do it in, but the exploration would be interesting. Take, say, a month... ooh. I used to have a small motorhome that would have been excellent for this purpose.

What about you? What projects do you want to do, even if you know it's unlikely it'll ever happen?

I'd like to travel the entire length of Highway 6, from Provincetown MA to Bishop CA. Shoot everything of interest along the route, then write a book about it all.

I should add that the idea for this thread came to me while reading the 'happier' thread. :) Ideas can be large or small!

Be the official photographer on the first interstellar space ship :D you did say even if its not likley to happen

That's fine with me. :)

So I'm not insane. Or, at least, I'm not the only one!

Good old Rte.6!
I've traveled this many times over the years, from Provincetown into New York State. There is some fantastic scenery, but also long stretches of nothing at all.
Rte. 6 actually goes right past the end of my street. Don't forget to stop in for coffee, @480sparky!

Two years living in Death Valley photographing it. With full Nikon support so that I had access to the lenses and camera bodies I need to get that perfect shot with the right tools.

Bet you would still leave with shots you would want to go back and do slightly different:D

Hope to catch young fawns in the field playing this spring. Getting those action shots right will be quite the challenge. A somewhat realistic project.
Of course nothing wrong with a Nat. Geo sponsored nature adventure either. :)

I want to try shots that use light painting, either with sparklers, leds, etc or just highlighting areas with flashlights. I also want to do some urb-ex/ruin-porn.
