Unable to see image when downloading from Sd card

Hi,

New to forum so please be easy with me.

I have a Nikon D3100 , have trimmed some images but cannot see them when viewing SD card but when viewing images via camera they now have a yellowbox/cross over it.

As far I can remember i edited them same as other images that i can see okay.

Welcome!

Check your manual, I believe the yellowbox/cross is letting you know you cannot reedit those images. You should be able to view them, they should show up after your last shot.

Edit: Example - Shoot picture 1, picture 2. Now you trim picture 1. The card will show picture1 (yellowbox/cross), picture 2, picture 3 (trimmed picture 1). Hope this helps.
